Elder Lula Wright Baker, age 70, of 5497 Kentucky Lane, Hope Mills, North Carolina, peacefully transitioned on February 21, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

​

Elder Baker was a devoted wife, mother, and servant of God whose life reflected faith, love, and commitment to her family and community. Her presence brought strength, wisdom, and encouragement to those who knew her, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched.

​

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving husband, Mr. Fay A. Baker; her children: three daughters, Franchesca Baker, Felicia Mitchell, and Janethea Boyd; and one son, Jarrod Baker, along with other relatives and friends who will forever honor her memory.

Full arrangements have not been finalized yet. Funeral services will be held at Richardson Chapel Holy BCOG, 7950 NC-53, White Oak, North Carolina 28399.

Interment will follow in the Richardson Chapel Holy BCOG Cemetery.
