Christine McDowell Miller, age 82, of Hope Mills, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on May 31, 2024.

Christine leaves behind cherished memories with her beloved husband, Mr. Willie Thurman Miller; her children, Mr. Thurman Donnell Miller and Mrs. Wanda Miller Rogers; and her sister, Josephine McDowell.

​

Funeral services will be held at Browns Creek AMEZ Church in Elizabethtown, NC on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 2 PM, with burial to follow in the Browns Creek Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be available on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM in the Newton Funeral Home Chapel.
