Mr. George Thomas Lewis, 85, of 208 David Street, Elizabethtown, NC, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Bladen Medical Center.

He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories with his loving wife, Mrs. Josephine Lewis, his devoted children, daughter Mary McDowell and son Kevin Lewis, and his beloved brother Lester Lewis. A special bond was shared with his granddaughter, Shakema Jacobs, who held a dear place in his heart.

A celebration of Mr. Lewis's life will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Browns Creek AME Zion Church, located at 394 Browns Creek Church Road, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.

​

Family and friends are invited to gather for public visitation prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.

Mr. George Thomas Lewis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
