With hearts full of love and remembrance, we honor the life of Mr. James Edward Williams, age 80, who peacefully transitioned on June 13, 2025, in Georgia. A native of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, Mr. Williams will be fondly remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength.

He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with his two daughters, Sharise Williams and Tammy Lumpkin; two sisters, Margie Watson and Ruby Waller; and one brother, Perry Ballard.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Williams' life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at Newton Funeral Chapel, 403 Martin Street, Elizabethtown, N.C. 28337.

Though he is no longer with us, Mr. James Edward Williams' love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in everlasting peace.
