Mrs. Florie Jane Johnson-Boney, age 94, of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Bladen County, North Carolina, peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her residence. Her passing marks the close of a long life filled with cherished memories and lasting love that will continue to live on through her family and friends.

Mrs. Johnson-Boney leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Wayne Stevenson Hayes, Sr.; one granddaughter, Briana Bennett; and one grandson, Wayne Stevenson Hayes, Jr. Her presence, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion AME Zion Church, 807 M.L.K. Drive, Elizabethtown, North Carolina. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:55 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Mount Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, North Carolina.
