Denise McKenzie Lacewell, aged 66, of Elizabethtown, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on May 3, 2024.

​

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her son, Angelo C. McKenzie; daughter, Angela P. Lacewell-Collins; brother, Leroy McKenzie; and sisters, Deloris Richardson, Alice M. Allen, and Alana McKenzie-Reaves. Denise's presence enriched the lives of her family and all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at Lula's Temple Holiness Church on Saturday at 2 PM, with burial to follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be available on Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM at Newton Chapel.
