Donald Devon Jessup died December 30, 2021, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC at the age of 63. Donald was born on April 20, 1958 to the late Preston Jessup and Mary Eliza Burton of Bland County, NC.

Donald is survived by his wife, Brenda Mayes of Ivanhoe, NC; two sons, Rico McKiver of Elizabethtown, NC, Bryan Mayes of Denver, CO; two stepdaughters, Lacarol Nelson of Ivanhoe, NC, Laboin Mayes of Ivanhoe, NC; four sisters, Betty Stubbs of Queens, NY, Carla Jessup of Queens, NY, Mary Richardson of Bladenboro, NC and Fitzgerald McDowell of Clarkton, NC; two brothers, Robert Jessup and Ronald Jessup of Elizabethtown, NC.

A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 2 pm – 5 pm at Newton Chapel in Elizabethtown. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 12 Noon at Ave Ave Family Cemetery in White Oak, NC.
