Mrs. Annie Lee Cromartie, age 84, of 2109 MLK Jr. Drive, Elizabethtown, NC, peacefully passed away at her home on September 27, 2024.

Annie Lee, a devoted mother, aunt, and friend, leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and strength. Her memory will forever be cherished by her two beloved children: son, Earl Burlin Cromartie, and daughter, Nicole Rachelle Carmichael. Annie’s special niece, Flora Bell Harrington, who resided with her, was a loving companion and caregiver, bringing joy and comfort in her final days.

Annie Lee will be celebrated and remembered at a Homegoing Service on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4047 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Baldwin Branch Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newton Funeral Chapel, 403 Martin Street, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
