Mrs. Mary Annette Jessup Richardson, who transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, N.C., at the age of 70.

Mrs. Richardson was a beloved mother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by love, resilience, and quiet strength. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with her loving daughter, Fellish Green; two devoted sisters, Clara Jesus and Betty Stubbs; and three caring brothers, Ronald Jessup, Robert Jessup, and Fitzgerald McDowell.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Saint Thomas AME Zion Church, 5673 NC-53, White Oak, N.C. 28339.

Public viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of F.W. Newton Funeral Home, 403 Martin Street, Elizabethtown, N.C. 28337.

Interment will follow the funeral on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Jessup–Burton Cemetery Avenue, Elizabethtown, N.C.

Mrs. Mary Annette Jessup Richardson will be remembered for her grace, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in heavenly peace.
